Linking multiple contacts to the same pipeline item

While a single pipeline item can’t be directly linked to multiple contacts, you can use a contact link field to connect multiple contacts to the same pipeline item. Learn how here:

• First, create a new custom contact link field within your pipeline. Learn how to create a custom pipeline field here.
• Please note: only admins can customize the pipeline and add custom fields.
• For example, if you have two points of contact for a pipeline item, create an “Additional contact” contact link field. Or, if your pipeline tracks client sales and you need to track the vendor of that sale, add a “Vendor” contact link field.
• Once you have a custom contact link field, you can edit an existing pipeline item or create a new one.
• The contact link field will appear in the dialog; you can select the field, search for the appropriate contact, and select them.
• For example, select a second main point of contact in an “Additional contact” contact link field to save them. Or, select the vendor point of contact in a “Vendor” contact link field.
• Be sure to save those changes, and then the selected contact will be linked to the same pipeline item.
