Using the scratchpad to stay organized
Learn how you can use the scratchpad to stay organized in your business and in life.
- Not sure how to add the scratchpad? Learn how to customize your Workspace to add it here.
- Team/Internal meeting notes: jot down free form notes during any meeting as it happens. Use the same space to write down topics that come to mind that you’d like to bring up in an upcoming team meeting.
- Someday items: take note of the things you intend to do at some point, but don’t have the capacity for right now. Things like finding an invoice tool that you like, or listening to the business podcast that was recommended, or reading that book on marketing.
- Numbers and goals: write down numbers, metrics, or goals that you want top of mind. New leads this month, total sales this quarter, a goal for the number of calls each day, etc.
- Phone scripts or frequent email snippets: write down the cold call opener you like to use, answers to your most frequently asked questions, or directions to the office that you usually share for quick reference.
- Grocery or shopping list: make a list of the groceries you need to pick up on the way home, or track what you need to buy this weekend.
- Personal errands: jot down a note to pick up the dry cleaning, call the doctor, or grab a present for that birthday party this weekend.
- Gift ideas: make a list of gift ideas for your loved ones. As things come up, make a quick note of what they do or don’t like, so you have it for easy reference when important dates approach.
