Every summer, Less Annoying CRM opens their offices to several interns. Intern duties run the gamut — CRM Coach interns talk to customers and work on projects like marketing and recruitment, developer interns create new features and fix bugs, and this year, we even have interns working on our Coding Fellowship! Interns also spend time learning about LACRM’s company philosophy, exploring St. Louis, and bonding with their new colleagues during fun adventures, like our annual float trip and demo ball.
You may have already noticed some of the new faces below in your inbox or on our site — time to meet our 2019 intern cohort!
Casey
Developer Intern
Casey originally hails from Connecticut, and she is a rising junior at Washington University in St. Louis majoring in Computer Engineering with a minor in Environmental Studies. Her hobbies include crocheting adorable little animals, playing ukulele, and doing yoga. Her favorite part about LACRM so far is the amazing environment and friendly coworkers! She's most excited about making meaningful changes to the website and the company during her internship.
Isaiah
Developer Intern
Originally from Houston, Texas, Isaiah is a rising junior and a Computer Science major at Washington University in Saint Louis. Isaiah used to be a big gamer (he was once nationally ranked in BlackOps and Runescape), but his hobbies at the moment are walking, Reddit, and YouTube. He likes the friendly atmosphere and wonderful work environment of LACRM. Isaiah is most excited to dig into LACRM's code base, including working with and improving our in-house integrations.
Kandis
CRM Coach Intern
Born in Chicago and raised in St. Louis, Kandis recently graduated from Tennessee State University in Nashville with a bachelor's in Health Science. In her free time she loves to read, write, and binge watch corny movies on Netflix. Her favorite part about LACRM so far is the company culture; she’s never felt more welcomed and relaxed in a work environment before. She also loves working downtown and discovering places she was never aware of growing up.
Khaila
Coding Fellowship Coordinator
A former coding fellow herself, Khaila is now responsible for evaluating curriculum for the fellowship. She manages internal and external engagement with local startups, industry leaders, and developers, in addition to working on other diversity and community outreach projects at LACRM. She is passionate about educating young people who belong to groups that are underrepresented in tech, and she plans on teaching English at University City High School this Fall.
Sarah
Developer Intern
Sarah is a rising junior at Washington University in St. Louis majoring in Computer Science and History. Originally from Missouri, Sarah loves having the opportunity to work in downtown St. Louis this summer. Her hobbies include listening to music on Spotify, rock climbing, and coffee. Her favorite parts about the internship so far? The fast-paced and collaborative atmosphere, and how much everyone's work is valued!
