Every summer, Less Annoying CRM opens their offices to several interns. Intern duties run the gamut — CRM Coach interns talk to customers and work on projects like marketing and recruitment, developer interns create new features and fix bugs, and this year, we even have interns working on our Coding Fellowship! Interns also spend time learning about LACRM’s company philosophy, exploring St. Louis, and bonding with their new colleagues, even while social distancing!
You may have already noticed some of the new faces below in your inbox or on our site — time to meet our 2020 intern cohort
Alicen Moser
CRM Coach Intern
Alicen Moser is from St. Louis, and recently completed a Master’s in English at St. Louis University! She spends most of her time outside of work creating experimental theater, and snuggling her cat, Sadie. She is amazed by how welcoming and fun the LACRM community has been, even while working remotely! This summer she is looking forward to working with collaborative team that truly cares about the customer.
Casey Mason
Software Engineer Intern
Casey was born in the suburbs of Georgia, but always wanted to live in a big(-ger) city so she moved to St. Louis for her undergraduate degree at Washington University. Five years later, she just finished her Master’s in Computer Science and is excited for her first Software Development position at LACRM. Particularly, Casey is excited about making a real product for and with real people who are just as excited about their work as she is. Outside of work, Casey loves to write poetry, watch terrible tv, and is currently learning how to skateboard.
Eva Jeliazkova
Software Engineer Intern
Eva is originally from Bulgaria, but grew up in our beloved STL. She recently graduated from WashU with degrees in Cognitive Neuroscience and Spanish.
While not at work, Eva can usually be found biking around the city, leaving drawings unfinished, and listening to podcasts. As a coding fellow last summer, Eva discovered that she could learn and apply new coding languages best when surrounded by the supportive and genuine folks at LACRM, and she’s excited to gain more practical coding skills this summer!
Katie Steinmeyer
Software Engineer Intern
Katie is from St. Louis and attends Washington University where she studies Computer Science and Anthropology with a concentration in Global Health and the Environment. For fun she likes to garden, paint, draw, and go on hikes. Katie particularly loves the community and general friendliness of everyone here at LACRM and can't wait to learn more about real-world coding skills this summer. She’s also excited get to know everyone at the company!
Maya Nepos
CRM Coach Intern
Originally from Racine, Wisconsin, Maya is studying Psychology and Marketing at Washington University in St. Louis. In her free time, she likes to play tennis, paint, do puzzles, and play Candy Crush. Her favorite part of working at LACRM so far is the fun and collaborative work environment (even while working remotely!). Maya is most looking forward to learning more about the CRM and the company so that she can dive right into helping people reach their small business goals!
Samm Kaiser
Software Engineer Intern
Originally from Evanston Illinois, Samm recently moved into her first apartment in St. Louis with a Washington University Volleyball teammate! There she’ll continue pursuing a B.S. in Math + Computer Scienceas well as a minor in environmental studies. Though volleyball is her favorite activity outside of work, when not on the court Samm also loves to read classic literature! One of her favorite things about LACRM so far is everyone’s great sense of humor, and this summer she’s looking forward to getting some practical knowledge, or “actually learning how to code” as Tyler puts it.
Swade Howard
Software Engineer Intern
Swade is from the small town of Bridgeport, Illinois. He has just one semester to go before earning his degree in Computer Science along with a minor in Mathematics at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville! Outside of work, Swade loves cooking, strength training, video games, and table tennis. So far, his favorite thing about working at LACRM has been all the hospitality and support from coworkers. He’s looking forward to getting to know the team better as the summer goes on, and putting his coding abilities to use!
Tricia Brown
Software Engineer Intern
Tricia was born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee. She is currently studying Systems Engineering at Washington University with a minor in Computer Science. While not at work, Tricia can usually be found playing volleyball, painting, gaming, or watching too many true crime dramas. She loves the close-knit community at LACRM, and how her coworkers have made her feel welcomed and encouraged to learn and ask questions. She’s excited to spend this summer gaining the practical skills and helpful advice that you can’t find in an academic environment.
