Product Update: Copy Company Data onto a Contact

Adding new contacts to a company just got easier!

Our developers and designers have just come out with a new time-saving feature!

Have you ever had to create a bunch of contacts who work at the same company in LACRM? If you have, you might have noticed that it used to be a bit of a slog to manually enter in the same work address for each contact. We’ve heard from many customers that this was an inefficient process, so our developers and designers have come up with a better solution.

Now, if you make a new contact who works at an existing company, you can choose to add that company’s email address, phone number, and address to the contact record in just a click. If this is an option for the particular contact record you’re working with, you’ll see a tiny building icon - click on that to add information into the address, phone, or email field. (Note that this will only show up if there is address, email, or phone data filled in on the company record.)

So the next time you add ten new employees who work at the same company, adding their work email, phone, and company address should be a breeze.
