Some of the improvements we make aren't as noticeable as a big new feature, but they can make just as much of a difference in your day-to-day. Check out some of the less obvious features our developers have been working on in the background.
☎️Search by phone number in our Zapier integration
You can now find contacts via phone number with Zapier, and use that to build your Zaps. If phone number is the piece of information your other tools have, it's now all you need to connect them to your CRM.
⚡️Default values for nearly every field type
This one is for custom fields. If there's a value you find yourself typing over and over, you can set it as the field's default and have it filled in for you on every new record. That now works with nearly every custom field type: text, numbers, currency, dropdowns, checkbox lists, radio lists, and dates. File fields and contact link fields are the only two that can't have defaults.
For examples of when this is worth doing, take a look at How to Set Default Field Values (and When You Should).
🔢Turn off commas in number fields
Custom number fields used to always format with commas (12,345). That's great for quantities and dollar amounts, but less great for things like ID numbers. When creating a custom number field, you'll now see a "Don't format this number" option, so 12345 can stay 12345.
🗒️All pipeline notes in report exports
When you export a pipeline report, it used to include only the most recent note on each pipeline item. Now the export includes all of the notes, the full history, so nothing gets left behind when you pull your data out.
👤Contact details right in your pipeline reports
When you open a pipeline item from a report, you'll now see a contact sidebar: a more convenient way to see additional info on your contacts without leaving the report.
💬A custom message for forms that aren't accepting submissions
When you turn off submissions for a form, you can now write your own message for visitors who land on it. Let them know why it closed, whether it's coming back, or how to get in touch with you in the meantime.
To set it up, go to your form settings and pick the form you want to adjust. On the right side of the screen you'll find the toggle to stop accepting submissions, and once it's off you'll be able to write the message you want people to see.
