Hi, I'm Emma. I run the affiliate program here at Less Annoying CRM.
A lot of the people who find us heard about us from someone who already uses the CRM. As a small business, that makes a huge difference for us, and we want to reward it.
There are two ways we do that: the referral program and the affiliate program. It can be understandably confusing for people to know which is which and how to differentiate between the two.
So take a look below to learn the basics of the two programs and then take a short quiz to see if you are a good fit for the affiliate program!
The two programs, side by side
The referral program:
- ✅ How you get in: every account is already in it, nothing to fill out. Find your referral link to share with people here.
- 🎁 What you earn: $15 off your next bill if they subscribe, and they get an extended 60-day trial.
- 👋 Who it's for: referring a few people here and there.
- 🧾 How you keep track: the credit shows up on your bill.
The affiliate program:
- 📝 How you get in: you apply, and we'll get on a call.
- 💰 What you earn: a percentage every month, paid via PayPal or Venmo, for as long as they're a customer.
- 📣 Who it's for: sharing with a large audience: a newsletter, a podcast, a client list, a network.
- 📊 How you keep track: a portal that shows who signed up and what you've earned.
- 🐝 Custom templates: build a template with the pipelines, groups, and custom fields your audience needs.
The short version: if you're referring a few people here and there, the referral program is perfect. If you have a large audience you want to share the CRM with, the affiliate program is probably the better fit.
