My favorite ways to connect Gmail with LACRM (through Zapier!)

If you're anything like me, you probably spend a ton of time in your Gmail inbox. That's how you reach out to your clients, make introductions to new leads, and communicate with your internal team.

Less Annoying CRM's BCC tool is fantastic for sending emails into your CRM account so that email communication doesn't get lost in the weeds, but what if you want to send contacts from Gmail to your CRM? Maybe you'd like to set tasks in LACRM directly from Gmail?

👤 Add contacts to LACRM by tagging an email with a label

What I want:

1. When I get an email from a new prospect,
2. I'll label them in Gmail as "New Prospect"
3. And Zapier will add their name and email automatically to my LACRM account.

What I'll set up in Zapier:

1. Trigger: New Labeled Email in Gmail
2. Action: New Contact in Less Annoying CRM

Once I set this up, every time I receive an email from anyone, I can create a contact in LACRM with their name and email address just by adding a Gmail label to that email!

What I want:

1. When I get an email from a new prospect,
2. I'll star that email in Gmail
3. And Zapier will set a task assigned to my teammate to let them know that I'd like them to follow up with this new prospect.

What I'll set up in Zapier:

1. Trigger: New Starred Email in Gmail (this only applies to emails starred within 2 days of receipt!)
2. Action: Create Task in Less Annoying CRM

Once I set this up, every time I star an email from anyone within 2 days of receiving it, I can set a task assigned to me or a teammate in LACRM to remind them to follow up.
