Call Pal

CallPal is outbound calling software for sales teams whose CRM never shipped a dialer. Reps click to call any Less Annoying CRM contact straight from the browser, or work through a saved list with the power dialer — one call per rep, with the rep already on the line before it rings, so nobody answers to silence.

Connecting takes about two minutes. CallPal uses OAuth, so there is no API key to find and paste: you approve CallPal from inside your own account and choose whether to import Contacts, Companies, or both. Custom fields come across too, because CallPal reads the field list from your own account rather than a fixed one. Contacts re-sync every 30 minutes. When a call ends, CallPal writes it back to the Less Annoying CRM record as a note carrying the direction, duration, outcome and a link to the recording — so the history of who called whom lives in the CRM, not in a rep's memory.

The problem it solves is that small sales teams on lean CRMs get overlooked by calling software. Most dialers integrate with the two or three largest CRMs and treat everything else as an afterthought, which leaves Less Annoying CRM users copying numbers into a softphone by hand and logging calls afterwards, if at all. CallPal is bring-your-own-carrier: teams connect their own SIP trunk, so calls are billed by their carrier at their own rate and CallPal never resells or marks up a minute. It is deliberately outbound only — no inbound routing, no IVR, no predictive dialing.
